Any resident of Seychelles may use the maternity care services offered.
Where do I need to go?
You need to go to your respective health centre. These health centres are:
• Victoria Hospital
• English River Health Center
• Anse Royale Hospital
• Anse Boileau Health Center
• Baie Ste Anne Hospital, Praslin
• Logan Hospital, La Digue
What do I need to do?
You need to book an appointment with the health centre you visit. A mid-wife will give you an appointment card dating the day on which you should come for the routine examinations and investigations.
How much does it cost?
• For citizens or residents of Seychelles who are government employees, the service is free.
• For non-citizen residents who are employed in the private sector have to pay for the service. The price depend on the extent at which the service is used.
