In its continuous effort to promote an enabling business climate in Seychelles, the Government has announced further reduction in the business tax for all businesses and provisional tax for all businesses operating as a specified business. The new rates which took effect as from 1st January 2007 are as follows:

• Rates of Business Tax for all Businesses:
  • 0% on the first 250,000 of taxable income
  • 40% on the remainder
• Rates of Provisional Tax (Deduction at Source) are 5% for all businesses operating as a specified business.

The businesses can obtain the business tax forms from the Tax Office at Orion Mall, Mahe, and at the Business Advisory Centre, Baie Ste.Anne, Praslin.
