The president‘s Private office is headed by a secretary of state, holding this function he/she provides advices for policy formulation and development of strategies that would provide for the implementation of government programmes and projects. Thus ensure that administrative and secretarial support is provided to the president in all his functions.
The president is elected in presidential referendum, who is the head of state, head of government and commander-in-chief of the defense forces of Seychelles.
